We pack the critical components in wooden crates to prevent damage during transportation. The dimensions of each crate are approximately 67*40*50cm, and the cost typically ranges from 100 to 200 Chinese yuan (about 15 to 30 USD). The goods is cushioned with thick foam inside and further

enclosed in cardboard boxes. I strongly recommend using wooden crates, as we have learned from past incidents where customers received damaged it apparently due to external impact, evidenced by a hole punctured through the box, which had impacted the internal products. At that time, we reviewed surveillance footage from all stages and concluded that the issue occurred during transportation, ultimately sending a replacement machine to the customer.
Moreover, wooden crates are not only biodegradable but also recyclable multiple times. Compared to plastic packaging, wooden crates are easier to dispose of after transportation, making them particularly suitable for companies that prioritize green logistics.
We will meet the requirements for crafting wooden crates as follows:
Materials: The wood should be larch, Masson pine, purple pine, white pine, elm, or other species with similar mechanical properties. The moisture content of the wood should not exceed 20%, and it must be free of defects such as insect infestation, decay, and cracks. The thickness of the crate boards should not be less than 10mm, and the thickness of the crate braces should not be less than 20mm.
Structure: The crate corners should be reinforced with metal, and shock-absorbing measures should be taken inside the crate. The ratio of the crate's length, width, and height should be 2:1:1, and the clear internal dimensions of the crate should match the dimensions of the enclosed cargo.
Labeling: The crate should include clear markings for the consignee's name and address, shipping mark, shipper's name and address, description of goods, quantity, weight, crate number, shipping mark, and other relevant information.
Treatment: Export wooden crates require fumigation treatment to prevent the spread of pests and diseases, and the fumigation treatment should comply with international plant quarantine standards.
