As a watch dial manufacturer focused on precision and craftsmanship, we value every question you raise. From dial structure and surface treatments to customization feasibility, pricing, production schedules, and R&D support, we are committed to providing clear and thoughtful answers.
What customization options are available for watch dials (materials, finishes, colors, indexes, logos, etc.)?
We support full component customization and prefer working with original designs. Partial customization is also available, using common base components that do not involve any IP infringement.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom watch dials?
We do not set a minimum order quantity. However, larger volumes offer better cost efficiency. Small quantities such as a dozen or several dozen samples involve upfront costs, including materials, tooling, design, R&D, processing, and production loss.
Our manufacturing capacity allows us to produce approximately 100,000 watch dials per month. For particularly complex designs, we can still achieve a monthly output of around 30,000–50,000 pieces.
What file formats and technical information are required to start a dial project?
You may send us PDF files, and 3D drawings are even better if available. Reference images or hand-drawn sketches are also acceptable. We will review the materials with you, communicate any technical considerations, and prepare formal drawings for your confirmation.
The key details we need to confirm include dial material, structure and layering, surface finishing, luminous effects, applied indexes, and other related components.
How long does the dial development and production process take?
This depends on the specific project. In general, the initial communication phase depends largely on the efficiency of our discussions. During working hours, I ensure that I am available online, and we can communicate via email, WhatsApp, or WeChat. Video calls can also be arranged when necessary to clarify technical details.
Sample development typically takes 1–2 months, while mass production usually requires 2–3 months. The exact timeline depends on the complexity of the watch dial design and our production schedule at the time of order placement.
What surface finishing and printing techniques do you offer (sunburst, matte, enamel, lume, applied indexes, etc.)?
As a professional watch dial manufacturer, we offer a comprehensive range of surface finishing and printing techniques to support both classic and highly complex designs.
Our capabilities include sunburst, vertical and circular brushing, matte and fine-grain textures, sandblasting, mirror polishing, lacquered and enamel-style dials, as well as galvanic and PVD color treatments. For printing, we support pad printing, multi-layer printing, fine text and micro markings, and high-precision alignment.
We also specialize in luminous applications, including Super-LumiNova® filling, multi-color lume, and sandwich dial structures. Applied indexes, logos, and custom markers can be produced in various materials and finishes, with precise assembly and quality control. < br>
With in-house process coordination and experienced engineering support, we are able to combine multiple surface finishing techniques on a single dial and provide technical guidance during development to ensure feasibility, consistency, and long-term reliability in mass production.
